Melonie Diaz

Melonie Diaz was born on April 25, 1984. Melonie Diaz is an American actress who was proclaimed queen of the 2008 Sundance Film Festival.

Melonie Diaz was raised along with her elder sister in New York City's lower east side by parents of Puerto Rican descent. She became interested in acting at the Henry Street Settlement and subsequently attended the Professional Performing Arts School in Manhattan.

Melonie Diaz recently completed a degree in Film Production at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, and has made numerous off-Broadway and workshop appearances including Medea at the Bullet Space, the Hip Hop Theater Festival at P.S. 122, and the New York City Fringe Festival.

Melonie Diaz breakthrough roles came as Blanca in Catherine Hardwicke's Lords of Dogtown (2005) and as Laurie in Dito Montiel's A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints (2006) which earned her a Independent Spirit Awards nomination for Best Supporting Female. She was subsequently cast by Jamie Babbit in the lead role of Anna in Itty Bitty Titty Committee (2007) as well as a role in Hamlet 2 in 2008. Melonie Diaz is currently working on a 2009 drama, Identity, which is in pre-production.

Evan Rachel Wood was born on September 7, 1987. Evan Rachel Wood is an American actress and singer. She was born in Raleigh, North Carolina, the daughter of Sara Lynn Moore, an actress, director and acting coach, and Ira David Wood III, an actor, singer, theater director and playwright. Wood's brother, Ira David Wood IV, is also an actor. Wood has another brother, Dana. Her paternal aunt, Carol Winstead Wood, is a Hollywood production designer.

Evan Rachel Wood made her debut as a leading film actress in 2002's Little Secrets and became well-known after her transition to a more adult-oriented Golden Globe-nominated role in the critically acclaimed film Thirteen (2003).
She began her acting career in the late 1990s, appearing in several television series, including American Gothic and Once and Again.

Evan Rachel Wood played Stephanie, Randy "Ram" Robinson's estranged daughter. Of her performance, one critic wrote, "Once her character stops stonewalling her father and hears him out, Wood provides a fine foil for Rourke in their turbulent scenes together." She co-starred in director Darren Aronofsky's The Wrestler, winner of the Golden Lion Award for Best Film at the Venice Film Festival, about Randy "Ram" Robinson (Mickey Rourke), a professional wrestler from the 1980s who is forced to retire after a heart attack threatens to kill him the next time he wrestles.

Her mother, Melanie Sloan, a producer, comes from an Ashkenazi Jewish family from the Bronx. Scarlett I. Johansson (born November 22, 1984) is an American actress and singer. Johansson rose to fame with her role in 1998's The Horse Whisperer and subsequently gained critical acclaim for her roles in Ghost World, Lost in Translation (for which she won a BAFTA), and Girl with a Pearl Earring, the latter two earning her Golden Globe Award nominations in 2003.

On May 20, 2008, Scarlett Johansson debuted as a vocalist on her first album, Anywhere I Lay My Head, with cover versions of Tom Waits songs.

Scarlett Johansson played femme fatale Silken Floss in Frank Miller's noir comedy adaptation of Will Eisner's comic The Spirit. The film was released in US theaters on December 25th, 2008. In 2009, she had a role as a yoga instructor in He's Just Not That Into You. Scarlett Johansson will also portray Mary, Queen of Scots in a film. In March 2009 she signed on to play Black Widow in both Iron Man II and The Avengers.
